Responsibilities
•    Provide excellent customer service
•    Perform and train entry level technicians on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance testing of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment, including:
        Relays, SCADA, Transformers, power cables, circuit breakers, switchgear, etc 
•    Familiarity with test equipment such as Doble M4000, Megger, Ductor, VLF, transformer winding tests.
•    Work with a small team of technicians on electrical commissioning and maintenance projects
•    Act as a liaison to the customer
•    Work with engineers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems 
•    Work as part of team to accomplish a common goal 
•    Prepare and review test documentation
•    Prepare and submit daily reports 
•    Perform safety analysis of jobs and tasks. Familiarity with electrical safety standards

Qualifications and Experience 
•    4-15 years experience in the field of electrical testing 
•    Ability to test numerous types of electrical apparatus, as listed above 
•    Currently hold NICET/NETA III or IV
•    High school diploma required, Bachelors, Associates or technical school certification is considered an asset 
•    Must have a valid drivers license 
•    Must be able to legally work in the US 
•    Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements
•    Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly and travel for extended durations

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain current and forecasted cash flow data, when compared to projected cash flow.
  • Understand all costs associated to the project.
  • Provide direct financial communication with project team, internal finance team, subcontractors, and owners.
  • Ensure financial accuracy for the company.
  • Oversee and identify plan deviations and recommended resolution.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts including invoicing/payment schedules as well as project cost forecasts.
  • Monitor performance and determine improvement areas by developing key performance indicators for critical metrics.
  • Performing invoicing for projects, ensure invoices are paid to terms, and post/close invoices in the company financial system.
  • Review subcontractor and third-party invoices to ensure accuracy when compared to project plan.
  • Review expense reports to ensure accuracy when compared to project plan.
  • Process payments to vendors, contractors, and employees’ reimbursement.
  • Assist the Project Manager with development of the project cost schedule and monitoring of the project cost schedule.
  • Conduct cost variance analysis and schedule against baseline values.
  • Enforce actual project data collection and weekly accurate estimates.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly financial reports for review by owners.
  • Assist in the cash flow planning of strategic company initiatives.
  • Assist with insurance and business licenses related needs.
  • Identify gaps in the current processes, propose solutions to address, and execute on initiatives to close the gaps.

Qualifications and Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance, required
  • 24 months of experience in a position with job duties involving accounting, management, and/or business administration.

Worksite: Houston, TX. This position allows for remote work. However, the employee is required to travel to the company's headquarters location in Houston, Texas one day per week. Additionally, quarterly travel to attend executive team meetings--which last approximately one week and are held at rotating locations throughout the US--is required.

$58,843 - $58,843 per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site commissioning and maintenance of protection and control systems for Utility and industrial facilities.
  • Provide development of test protocols and procedures for protection & control systems
  • Complete factory acceptance testing of protection panels
  • Complete factory QA/QC of protection panels
  • Provide technical oversight for protection panel construction.
  • Assist with development of standard procedures for protection & control system commissioning and maintenance.
  • Complete P&C drawings for each design
  • Complete as-built drawings for field installations, as part of turnover packages
  • Coordinate testing activities with owner/utility
  • Assist with design on all aspects of electrical power systems to include one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control and relaying schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, and communications.
  • Assist in the development of protective relay settings for all different relay types (GE, SEL, Siemens, ABB, etc)
  • Assist in the development of programming files for SCADA systems
  • Assist with developing company practices and procedures for engineering work
  • Development of protection and control field test procedures and troubleshooting of test procedures. Provide guidance and assistance to field personnel in the execution of protection and control tests
  • Review field test results for accuracy and provide input on test results
  • Mentor and train employees in the knowledge area of protection & control

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge and expertise with medium and high voltage power systems, with a primary focus on protection and control
  • Knowledge and expertise of substation general design, setup, and components
  • Knowledge with PV and Wind power generation systems and collection substation, and commissioning of these facilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform design, under supervision of the Sr. Protection & Control Engineer, on all aspects of electrical protection and control systems to include protection coordination studies, protective relay settings, SCADA/HMI settings, communication settings, RTU, one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control and relaying schematics, wiring diagrams, communications architecture.  
  • Assist with the preparation of computer-based models for coordination studies.
  • Assist with the development of protective relay settings for all different relay types (GE, SEL, Siemens, ABB, etc)

  • Coordinate protection settings with customer and utility as required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Power system modeling software such as EasyPower, ETAP or SKM
